Accessibility
The Nature Park Ybbstal is committed to making its website accessible.
This accessibility statement applies to www.naturpark-ybbstal.at
1. Compliance Status
This website is partially compliant with conformance level AA of the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.2” and with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03), pursuant to Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019 on the accessibility requirements for products and services, due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.
2. Non-accessible / Partially Accessible Content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
a. Non-compliance with Accessibility Requirements / Disproportionate Burden
PDF and Word documents (especially older documents) used on the website are not accessible. If you require content from one of our PDF or Word documents, please contact us. We will make every effort to provide the information in an alternative format.
The videos used on our website are currently not accessible. Adapting them would constitute a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the accessibility regulations. We strive to make new videos accessible as soon as possible.
Alternative texts for images are in some cases not optimally selected. We are working to ensure that all images are provided with alternative text for screen reader users. Editors are being made aware of this issue and are receiving appropriate training.
We strive to write our texts with as few abbreviations and foreign terms as possible. We also avoid unnecessarily complex sentence structures. If you find that a text is difficult to understand and therefore only partially accessible, please contact us. We will try to provide you with an easy-to-understand version.
Lists such as accommodation lists, event lists, gastronomy lists, POI (points of interest) lists, offer lists, and lists of towns and regions are based on structured data from our tourism database and are currently only partially accessible.
The layout of the website has been adapted to the display size of the respective end devices. The setting of the "viewport" tag to "maximum-scale=1" prevents zooming. Correcting this would have a significant impact on the layout display.
Several pages contain iframe elements without labels.
Some pages contain links without link text.
The visual presentation of text and images containing text does not always meet the required minimum contrast ratio (except for the exceptions provided for in the regulations, e.g. logos).
The listed incompatibilities with accessibility requirements are being corrected on an ongoing basis.
b. Content Outside the Scope of Applicable Legislation
Recorded time-based media, such as video and audio media, published before 28 June 2025.
Interactive maps are currently not accessible. However, the information from the maps is available in an accessible format elsewhere on our website.
Third-party content: Our website is partly based on content from a decentralised tourism database. Our content partners are requested to provide texts and media in an accessible format. However, no statement can be made regarding the accessibility compliance of such third-party content.
3. Preparation of this Accessibility Statement
This statement was prepared on 4 April 2026.
4. Feedback and Contact Information
The content of the websites is subject to ongoing changes and enhancements. To account for this, our staff continuously review the content. Ease of use and accessibility are very important to us.
If you encounter barriers on our websites that hinder or restrict your use, please inform us by e-mail at: office@naturpark-ybbstal.at
